Welcome!
Growing up I spent my fair share of hours finding hideaways for reading, roaming the neighbourhood, swimming laps in the pools and catching various bugs, lizards, crabs and other critters. I went on to get a Bachelor of Science and worked for a while as a geophysicist.
Later, when my interested turned to science communication I gained a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education and currently, I'm a primary school teacher in the NT, Australia.
I've created this website as a portfolio to track my own professional development. I'm interested in education innovation, in particular, inquiry learning, STEM education, and using digital tools in education. I believe in giving children the skills of how to learn and ways to think about their own learning. This blog is about how these beliefs inform my teaching practice and my learning life.
